Hi, I’m Ankita!
(ahn-KEE-tha)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (she/her)
I support tender-hearted people—especially those who are sensitive, attuned, or deeply impacted by the world around them—to reconnect with their inner world as a place of rest, refuge, and belonging.
Based in the East Bay in California, I offer teletherapy to clients across the state.
Your inner world is waiting for you—to return, to listen, to come close.
This space invites you to:
Tend to grief, loss, and the sorrows and heartbreaks that linger
Soften what might be keeping you from the intimacy and closeness you long for
Hold and heal emotional wounds, past traumas, and survival-based patterns
Recognize trauma triggers and grow your capacity for self-soothing and self-care
Listen for the signals of your body to guide boundaries rooted in truth and care
Reconnect with your inner child and witness the full arc of your grief, wonder, and becoming
Unravel painful beliefs around body, beauty, and worth, and remember the truth of your inherent lovability
Gently explore the roots of self-doubt, perfectionism, or the feeling of being “too much” or “not enough”
My approach is relational and contemplative, with attention to childhood stories, nervous system healing, and the body's wisdom.
I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and somatic awareness, Buddhist and psychodynamic influences, dreamwork, and Nonviolent Communication. What’s most central is deep listening—both to what’s said and to what arises in the quiet spaces between. Our sessions may include parts work, grounding practices, or simply spacious conversation.
In our work together, you can expect warmth, attunement, and presence. I offer a space where your grief, longings, contradictions, and becoming are welcome. We move at the pace of your system, guided by curiosity, compassion, and the slow unfolding of your own knowing.
Liberation, honesty, tenderness, and reverence live at the heart of how I hold space.
I care deeply about supporting individuals navigating loss, identity, systemic harm, family and relationship challenges, and their own healing paths.
I affirm and celebrate nontraditional relationships, queer and trans identities, sex/kink positivity, body diversity, and psychedelic integration.
I especially honor and welcome those who identify as: BIPOC | LGBTQIA+ | polyamorous/non-monogamous | neurodivergent | highly sensitive and/or emotionally intense | immigrants & children of immigrants | artists | activists | spiritual seekers | late bloomers | survivors with Complex PTSD
